This portfolio is called "skeleton" and it is from Guillermo Vega. If you click any of the images to enlarge, you can see the logo at the bottom right says "be careful" and then has a picture of a condom -- the portfolio was created as a part of an advertising campaign. Ah... brilliant.

Featured Artist - Hory Ma

(Click images to enlarge.) I don't even know what kind of art this is. Well, that's a lie, I know exactly what it is because Hory Ma's portfolio told me... it's mixed media: photography and digital graphics design. Sick. This art is definitely very progressive and unique... I have never really seen anything like it. And in its league of its own, it is ballin out. There's plenty more to see here.

Featured Artist - Peter Jaworowski

Another artist too good not to sell out to corporate. Dude has done work for British Airways, Nike, Samsung, Oakley, and Nokia to name a few. I really like art that is of mixed media... in his case: photography and graphics design. The combination of the two combine to create this surrealistic and gorgeous feel. Featured Artist - Matthew Tourtellott

As an amateur graphics artist and photographer, one of my personal favorite art genres is that of abstract photography. This guy, Matthew Tourtellott, creates some really gorgeous stuff within this genre. He plays around with lots of different techniques, but I most admire his "Fractal Flames" (images 1, 2, and 3 above). The prints are fairly reasonably priced at 40 bucks for 24"x20". I think perhaps a pair or set of his prints would make an excellent and thoughtful gift. Check out his full portfolio for sale here.

Star Wars Urban Photography

French photographer, Credic Delsaux, created these series of photographs featuring Star Wars characters in urban settings. The shots are actually created by superimposing toys on to shots of Parisian architecture. Pretty dope, may the force be witchu, yeezzzuur.

Lichtfaktor Crew Light Writing

I once took photography class and one of our first projects was dealing with light writing photography. Using an exposure of about ten-to-thirty seconds, tripod, glowsticks, flashlights, reflectors, and even torches are used to create the light writings. What Lichtfaktor did is the cleanest light writing for what i have seen so far, amazing work. Check out their Myspace page for more info.
